This Donation & Refund Policy explains how pawshelt Inc processes donations and handles refund requests. We appreciate every contribution to our mission of rescuing dogs and cats without shelter.
Donations to pawshelt Inc directly fund emergency rescue operations, veterinary care, foster support, and adoption programs for stray dogs and cats across the United States.
pawshelt Inc is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are generally tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. A donation receipt will be sent to the email address provided at checkout. Please consult a tax professional regarding your specific situation.
If you set up a recurring (monthly) donation, you may cancel or modify it at any time by emailing contact@pawsheltinc.org at least 5 business days before your next scheduled charge.
If you believe a donation was made in error — such as a duplicate charge or incorrect amount — please contact us within 14 days of the transaction at contact@pawsheltinc.org. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and, where approved, are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days.
Donations that have already been allocated to a specific rescue, medical procedure, or program are generally non-refundable, as funds may have already been committed or spent on behalf of an animal in our care.
All online donations are processed through secure, PCI-compliant payment providers. pawshelt Inc does not store your full payment card details on its servers.
